Kind, gentle, caring, sweet...such a good friend during a time of turmoil in my life. So sorry to hear of this.

He was a really great guy, and a good friend. I loved cruising Steak-N-Shake with him in his 57 Chevy.

Good friend. We went to Mardi Gras in 1974 along with Greg Beckmann.

Don and I were 2nd string defensive backs on the football team. We would laugh about who would get pounded the most when we practiced against the first string offense. He was a good guy, and his life was too short.

I, too, remember Donald as one of the sweetest guys I ever dated.  My mom loved him.  Just a few months ago, a girl came to visit my house with my daughter.  She, too, went to Hazelwood and graduated in 1975.  When I asked her name, she told me her last name was Denney.  I laughed and said I dated a really great guy named Donald.  Sure enough, he was her brother.  She's had a hard time of it and it made her day to have someone remember him.  Donald, we will always be blessed that you came our way.
