What a beautiful person, Debbie was. Always smiling and happy. I have a cookbook that she gave to me as a wedding present and I still use it. She wrote in the front of the cookbook so I think of her often.
I remember Debbie as a very happy girl. She and I were in Blue Birds together with her mother as our leader. I spent many great sleepovers at her house and found out what happens to girls who go to sleep first. We had great fun. I was very sad to hear she had died at our past reuions.
