Robert Shackleton Blake II, age 76, passed away on February 10, 2026.
Cherished son to the late Robert and Dorothea Blake; proud father of Ashley Blake (Craig Cunningham), Natalie (Blake) Luna, and Morgan Childers; adoring grandpa of Andie and Brady Luna, dedicated romantic companion of Debbie Warden Rolby, loving brother of Laura (Walt) Hilgendorf, Kim (Matt) Foley and the late Peter Blake. He was a beloved partner, uncle, cousin, friend and coach to many.
Robert devoted more than 30 years of his life to education as a teacher, administrator and coach, leaving a lasting impact on countless students and colleagues.
A proud graduate of the University of Missouri, he remained a lifelong Tiger at heart and an enthusiastic sports fan. From high school and college athletics to the teams he followed faithfully over the years, sports brought him joy and served as a source of conversation and connection, frequently accompanied by his trademark humor and storytelling.
Robert will be remembered for his dedication to others, his love of sports and the outdoors, and the many lives he touched through teaching, coaching and friendship.
