Connie and I were cheer leaders on the eight grade squad in junior high. We became best friends thru high school. Both of us were going thru difficult situations in our homes as teens. It's amazing how God can place just the right friend at the right time in our lives to help make sense of life and get past it all. I am thankful I had a great friendship with Connie.
Connie represents so much of my time growing up. I lost touch with her after high school and yet never forgot her. Shocked to hear of her passing, and wish so much that we could have met again and talked and laughed about the past.

Connie was a good friend from Russell School. I'm sorry we missed any opportunity to get reacquainted at any reunion. I would have liked that.Donna J. Hill
