"Our prayers and sympathy to the many friends of Ozark, American, TWA, the Nashville Airport family and the many friends Dave made as he traveled around the country. Dave never met a stranger and was a kind and always grateful for friendships. He loved to travel camp, meet new people. Friends who took road trips with Dave will never forget the great times! He was a gentle person who was loved my many. Thanks for the many memories Dave!"

"Worked with Dave (Alex) in St. Louis for approx. 20 years (TWA and American)…have many very good memories of all the times shared with him at work and socially, as I’m sure most everyone he worked alongside can agree with…I will especially miss his insight on the music and bands of our generation and how passionate he was about it…we used to tell each other whenever we had the opportunity to chat “it’s all about the music”…Rest in Peace Dave…say hello to Hendrix, Morrison, Joplin, Moon, Entwhistle, Jones, etal…"

I met Dave through a mutual friend Glen Wilkerson. We had a memorable trip to Elephant Rock State Park in my Fiat 850 Spider. It was a dark rainy night and a pickup truck full of drunk rednecks tried to run us off the road. The next morning we went swimming and I went down into a whirlpool and if it wasn't Dave pulling me up I not sure I would  have made it out.I remember Dave being unavailable sometimes because he was taking training to be a Flight Attendant if I remember right. So sad to see old friends depart when you have always wondered what happened to them. Hope you are in a better place old friend,
