George “Buddy” Mayer Jr. suddenly on Tuesday January 4, 2022. Beloved husband of Cheri Mayer for 51 years.
Loving father of Jeffrey (Melissa) Mayer, Tracy Mayer, Lance (Jen) Mayer and Charissa (Jim) Guyre.  Proud grandfather of Tyler, Dustin, Myles, Matthew, Alyssa and Lydia. Dear Papa of Renesmee and Storm.  Dear brother of Dale (Mary Ann) Mayer, Lisa (Steve) Swaine, Linda (Chris) Cooper and the late Barb Fitzwater.  Our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Buddy was an enormous second amendment advocate; car, tank enthusiast, loved the country and his cat Boo.
Services: Funeral Thursday January 13, 11:30 am at Hutchens Mortuary & Cremation Center 675 Graham Rd. Florissant, MO 63031.  Interment with full Military Honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
Visitation Wed. Jan. 12, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
