November 30, 1951 - December 26, 2021

Deborah A. Kern, age 70, passed Sunday, December 26, 2021. Debbie was born in St. Louis Missouri to Robert and Virginia Davis. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Beloved wife for 50 years of Steve C. Kern; dearest Mother of Allison Kern, Jason (Carri) Kern, Nathan Kern and Brandon Kern. Cherished grandmother of Trenton, Hudson, Tatum and Tia. Dear sister of Dana Davis. Our dear aunt, great-aunt, sister-in-law, cousin, godmother and friend to many especially her most loved “Bunco Ladies.”

Debbie especially loved watching and caring for all the young children that came into her home. In the process, these children were lovingly “absorbed” and became a part of her family. They were unbelievably important to her and their parents would describe her as a “2nd Mom”. She enjoyed sitting on the beach, wearing flip flops and had a love for watching tennis on tv. Debbie most especially loved watching her kids play sports, their growing-up and any time spent with her grandchildren and friends.

Inurnment will take place at Jefferson Barracks at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children-St. Louis.
