Steve was a great guitar player! We dabbled with a Rock band where he was lead guitar,Mike Sisk was bass,John Anderson was the organ player, Margy Sobodka was the lead singer ,I played rhytm and we had 2 different drummers Swanson was one. The practices were fun and Steve was always yelling at me to turn my amp down. John and Margy fell in love so the rest went our seperate ways with broken hearts. After the reunion I communicated with Steve on facebook. He was trying hard to land a new job and it was a rough time for him. I was so proud of Steve when he landed a job a St. Louis University Hospital! If there is a Heaven I know where Steve is. He is at the Gates of Heaven playing lead to Led Zepplin's Stairway to Heaven with John Anderson on the Organ.Love both of you.

I was able to see Steve at our 40th reunion and talk to him. He loved playing guitar and was very good at it. Steve will be missed. My condolences to his wife and family. Mike Sisk

So sorry to hear of Steve's passing, but I know John is happy to see his buddy again in the big garage band in the sky. Steve was s great guy; we had good times. My sympathy goes out to his family.
