Received my degree in Mass Communications from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Started my video production business in 1983. My career highlight was being on Good Morning America in 1984 because of the first Video Yearbook that we produced for Alton High School. I have lived in Alton, IL area since 1974. |

Memories from high school - so many to pick from:
*Linda Frentzel and I had a 16th birthday party - swimming at my house and the band was at her house .
*Last Train to Clarksville - if I remember right that was Mr. Eichorst's idea
*Getting sent to the office because I wore a sweatshirt
*You would roll up your skirt at the waist to make it shorter and then unroll it when you saw the yardstick
*Mrs. Vogt - watching the World Series in our Spanish Class.
*Found out that shaving cream can take the paint off of a car
*Mr. Gerdeman & Mr. Vogt were great math teachers
*Homecoming floats-making paper flowers for days
*Steak 'n Shake - Did you know that back then, you could get enough money from a fountain to pay for fries and a soda?
*Football games - sitting in the stands with my friends and cheering on the Hawks. I can't wait to do that again on Oct. 3rd and they are playing McCluer!
I went to the Hazelwood School District office and received a copy of my high school transcript. It only costs $5. Here is my class schedule & teacher for my senior year:

Names of students. The first name on top left is Jack Carpenter. Remember, I wrote this in 7th grade... and yes, I still have terrible handwriting. Ask any of us about our teacher Mr. Propst and you will understand why I scribbled on his photo.

My favorite photo from Christmas 2008. Four of my grandchildren and two nephews (the older guys in the middle). Ben Curd, the one in the blue & white striped shirt, is leaving for Afghanistan in August. He has already served in Iraq (A Marine of course!). My dad was a Marine pilot for 20 years.
