Teachers Albert Saladin , Sue Caldwell Lail, Richard Frankenberger & possibly Dwight Hensley will also be coming to the events on Saturday.

I have talked to Jim Bimes, Richard Duvall, Carolyn Rose, Mary Lynne Sunderman, Barry Hoppen's wife (Barry has had some strokes), Ron Wiggins, Joyce Caton, & Nancy Owens Bratz and all of them were so thankful that we thought of them but cannot make it. They send their best to our class.

Unfortunately, Bernard Dawkins, Paul Wright, Roy Tanner, Robert Stouffer, and Kathie Vogt (her obituary is on our "In Memory" page) are deceased.

Just got back home to KC. Sorry we missed the luncheon today. The reuinion was fabulous. Big Thanks to Claudia, and the entire committee, Doug, Tim and the gang. It was great to start reconnecting names and faces and all the fun stories from the web site. I tried to shake hands with as many as possible and still missed too many unfortunately. The music was great! Let's do it again..........John & Janice

That was such a blast Saturday night, and I want to restate what I said in my profile for those of you who use the forum;

It was one of those nights that you wish would never end!

I don't know exactly why but I know I was especially looking forward to this 40th reunion.

Maybe it was the fact that we were all getting spun up with the precommunications that were occurring on the web page (thanks to Claudia!), but whatever the reason it was a night to remember.

I must admit that now I'm feeling a bit melancholy and I miss everyone more then ever...great friends last a life time and cannot be replaced!

I want to thank all of you that took the time to talk to Patti (Feco). She had a wonderful time, and I am glad she "made" me take her
The decorations and the band were just great, you guys did a good job.
Vicki (Gardner) where were you ??? I didn't get my chance to "stalk" you at the dance!!!!

I just want to say that we had a great time Saturday night! Thanks to all the people who worked so hard to put this reunion together, you did a great job! The food was great, the music was great, the atmosphere was wonderful - warm, welcoming and relaxed. I think it was the best reunion that I've ever been to. It was great to see so many old friends and I agree with Denny that the profiles on the web site bringing everyone up to date in advance were a great icebreaker. It was a blast and I can't wait for the next one!

Barb Taylor Mathis mentioned having a 60th birthday party for our class, which I think is a great idea.
It was so rewarding to look around the room and see everyone hugging & smiling. What a great group of people in our class.
On behalf of the reunion committee, thank you for all the kind words about this weekend.

To all classmates and the reunion committee,

It was wonderful seeing you all again and catching up with old friends and making some new ones.

I particularly want to thank the reunion committee. You did a wonderful job this year putting together a memorable event. I am still amazed at what you accomplished for such a small price. Thank you very much for making it come off so well.

I hope to see you all at the 45th or 50th, God willing and the creek dont rise!

Best wishes and Semper Fi, Dirk

Let me echo the previous sentiments and add my gratitude and admiration for an outstanding job by the Reunion Committee. Cindy and I thoroughly enjoyed all the planned events we attended and the opportunity to meet up with old friends and classmates again. Best to you all and hope to see everyone happy and well at the next one.

Man, or man. I can't believe how wonderful everyone looked at the reunion. It didn't matter how much gray, or loss of hair or added inches we all had, the old friendships were still there. The time was just too short. I agree with Barb Hubble that if you didn't come, you were missed. Committee, this was truly a successful reunion thanks to your hard work and diligence in finding people. Friends, don't be strangers. Keep in contact.

Love you guys.

I just wanted to say how sorry I was to not be able to make it to the reunion to see you all. My fondest memories of high school are of all the wonderful guys and gals of the Class of '69 and the times we shared. At this special time of year, we can all be thankful for the great friends and lifelong connections that we have with each other. All of you will be in my thoughts and prayers this Thanksgiving Day.
Please feel free to contact me at cb_tiger_9790@hotmail.com or cbtiger9790@aol.com anytime and let's catch up!

I'm so sorry I missed the reunion. It sounds like it was a great time for all. I hope the 60th birthday party comes to life so I get a chance to see everyone and catch up. Even though I didn't attend, I have to say thanks to the committee for all you have done and continue to do to keep the Class of '69 alive! Now that I found the website, thanks to Deanna Fetter, I spend most of my free time trying to read all the profiles. I still am in the process of updating mine and adding photos. Hope to see all of you soon!

I wanted to Thank everyone for a great reunion. I know Dan had a great time too.  I'am glad I did get to go to one with him. He was a great husband, lover, and friend. I will really miss my baby. Christmas & New Years really sucked this year. I had all his X-mas presents & birthday gift's wrapped. I know he would of liked to go on the cruise you all have planned, we always talked about going on one. I'll be moving back to St.Louis. I finally got rid of the Dental Office, Taxes are done, now I have to sell the house and try to find homes for my dogs. They are the only reason I made it through this awful experience.  Dan's daughter is in Dallas going to school to be a doctor, His son is in Vegas doing DVD's for Weddings and Parties.  I am alone here, all my family and his Parent's are in St.Louis selling this house is going to be a job. I lost him for 30 years and found him again now he's gone again. I wanted to Thank -You all for your prayers through this rough time. Peggy Price  P.S. With my luck he's probably up there with that damn Vicki Hill.

To all of you that already turned 60, did you go thru some kind of PTSD moment?  I am trying to decide if I should do something I havent been able to do in 55 years (since I started kindergarten)... take my birthday off!  Would be a good day to go pickup the new birthday present I bought myself (Springfield XDm compact) and bust a few caps, ride my HD, sip some bourbon, smoke a cigar and tell some lies.  (not necessarily in that order).  So let me know how you old timers kept from going into PTSD on your birthday!  Semper Fi, Dirk
